Isthere any reason to go 56/60 over 54/58 (which is the stock setup if I remember correctly). What do you do? Obviously the 54/56 would be sand, ect. 58/60 for touch shots around the green, lobs, etc. Any reason people go 58 over 60 or 54 over TheGap Wedge came in to fill the increasing loft gap between PW and SW, sometime more than 8 degrees. With the stock PW of iron sets averaging from 45 to 47 degrees, the PW / 52 / 56 / 60 mix is the unofficial standard for three-wedge sets. For others, PW / 50 / 54 / 58 is a popular mix. Itreally depends on the pitching wedge's loft. If the set has traditional lofts 48*-50*pw then the 54-58 will do fine. If your set is strongly lofted with a 45*-46* pw than A54 degree wedge is classified as a sand wedge and is the strongest lofted option in this category. Alternatively, you can acquire a 56 or 58-degree sand wedge. You’ll find that the 54 and 56-degree options are more common than the 58, as the weaker loft is too close to a lob wedge. Selecting an extremely weakened sand wedge could leave Cannondalereckon their 56 is for people 178-182cm. Their 54 is for 170-178cm. So you are well over their suggested range for 54, which would have me leaning more to the 56. I'm right on the border between 56 and 58. No way in hell would I want a 54. I think I could ride a 58 Cannondale fine, and most of my other bikes are 58 as I said. Thinkabout the 7 runners in the group 56 - 60: all we know is that they ran somewhere between 56 and 60 seconds: Maybe all seven of them did 56 seconds, Maybe all seven of them did 60 seconds, But it is more likely that there is a spread of numbers: some at 56, some at 57, etc; So we take an average and assume that all seven of them took 58 Calculatethe GCF, GCD or HCF and see work with steps. Learn how to find the greatest common factor using factoring, prime factorization and the Euclidean Algorithm. The greatest common factor of two or more whole numbers is the largest whole number that divides evenly into each of the numbers. A58/60 is for selective shots around green and needs a touch of skill. I use my 60, 4-5x a round where a 56 could be 18-20x. Difference between 56 and 54 will close the gap from your PW a tad more. Scituate MA. June 11, 2011 at 10:45 PM. I'n thinking of replacing my 56.11 and 52.08 with a 54.11. I usually hit my 52 about 120 yds, and it's almost always a full swing. My 56 is around 95-100 yards. Partial swings with the 56 happen, although it depends on the lie and how close I am to my 60° distance. CiUi.
