What DiRT Rally 2.0 has is a high number of settings and assists to ease you along the way. I've made liberal use of some of these assists, though only in actual rally races.
I'm totally down for that! I asked for assists but after posting I was discussing with my brother and he said the same, playing with no assists is better than playing with them and then not being able to turn them off because I'm used to them. Thanks for the quick answer.

What settings you got for dirt rally 2.0. Played a last nights just practicing felt great wheel would fight back while going over curbs and stuff then last night just kept turning off and resetting. Felt like it was trying to hard and maybe the settings are wrong.
I use the game on a 3840x1080 (32:9) screen. It already supports all the ultra wide and stupid ultra wide monitors. YouTubeâ„¢ Video: Dirt Rally 2.0 Monte Carlo - Longest route - Skoda Fabia R5. Had a bash at the longest route on the new Monte Carlo route (6.75miles) in the Skoda Fabia R5.
Right click on the game in steam library and choose properties. "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" change 'Use your Global Steam Input settings to "Force Off". Some have reported this setting can change on its own when Steam client updates.
2. open DiRT Rally 2.0, 3. open hardwaresettings folder, 4. open hardware_settings_config_vr with Notepad++. 5. Search for fullscreen="1", change it to fullscreen="0" 6. Remember to save (Ctrl+S) There, now your game wont mess up your desktop resolution while gaming as it will otherwise force the VR resolution.
(C:\Users\NAME\Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally 2.0\hardwaresettings)(open with wordpad) There's some other settings that can be done to help, like setting lod's on ground cover to 0.9 instead of 1 seems to help with it ♥♥♥♥ cutting off so close. You got many hidden options in that config file.
But if u have shifter connected to pc via usb and it's still not working then: - try another usb port, maybe 2.0-port if u have one of those (or usb 3.0 port if it's in a 2.0-por,t or just another usb port), most likely issues isn't here. - check drivers for shifter. Everything else seems to be fine. - u can see shifter as an input device in
1uVz9.
